Battery packs usually contain many individual cells. From 3-6 in the case of laptop battery packs, up to many thousands in case of big electric car battery packs (for example, Tesla cars). Depending on many circumstances, we can reuse some cells from these batteries for a second life.
All cells are thoroughly inspected, tested and measured for their condition and performance. Once they pass our strict limits and requirements, we use them in our products, which means a 2nd life cycle for them. With this approach, we can save precious resources needed for manufacturing new batteries—and cut down on unnecessary waste. Waste, which in fact is not waste yet. Or not at all.
